As published in the
San Francisco Call: "NEW YORK, Oct. 10. 1913 — Albert
(sic) Lawson, an aviator, entered in exhibition flights soon to be made around New York, fell into the Hudson river today during a flight. He narrowly escaped drowning, being rescued by a tugboat." Almost certainly refers to
Alfred Lawson, erstwhile pro baseballer, coiner of the word "Airliner", later eccentric "educator" and founder of "Lawsonomy".
