No. 6 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps was formed on 31 January 1914, at Farnborough under
Major J H W Becke. It would go on to provide 93 years of continuous service to the RFC and RAF until it was
disbanded on the retirement of the SEPECAT
Jaguar, in May 2007.
